PT Malindo Feedmill Tbk welcomed a visit from the Minister of Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions of the Republic of Indonesia, H. Yandri Susanto, S.Pt., M.Pd., together with the Regent of Serang, Hj. Ratu Rachmatuzakiyah, S.E., M.Si., to the Layer Farm in Serang as part of efforts to ensure the readiness of the supply chain for the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) and to strengthen collaboration between the regional government and the company.

During the visit, the delegation directly observed farm operations and discussed the development of omega eggs and fresh eggs as hygienic, healthy, and sustainable nutritious food sources to support the MBG program.

Minister of Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions, Yandri Susanto, emphasized that the presence of PT Malindo Feedmill Tbk has had a positive impact on surrounding villages, particularly in terms of local workforce absorption.

“First, we want to ensure that the presence of this company provides a positive effect on the surrounding villages. Earlier, it was reported by Mr. Sugeng as the Head of Sangiang Village and conveyed by the management that almost all employees come from the surrounding villages. This means that the presence of this industry has had a very positive impact,” said Yandri.

In addition, Yandri expressed his appreciation for the performance and production quality of PT Malindo Feedmill Tbk and encouraged the expansion of collaboration with villages in Serang Regency.

“We greatly appreciate and thank PT Malindo for being able to produce livestock products, both layer and broiler chickens, that are of very good quality, healthy, and hygienic. Therefore, we encourage that the extraordinary success of PT Malindo’s management can be aligned and collaborated with the villages in Serang Regency,” he added.

The visit also discussed opportunities for collaboration between the Serang Regency Government and PT Malindo Feedmill Tbk in village development and the utilization of local potential to support food security and community economic empowerment. Through this visit, PT Malindo Feedmill Tbk reaffirmed its commitment to continuously strengthen synergy with the central and regional governments in providing nutritious food and promoting village-based economic development.
